Bernie Reifkind: The 5 most common misspellings of my last name (and it’s not Rifkin!)

Ok, I admit that my last name is a hard one to spell.  But you can’t believe how many misspellings that I have had to deal with over the years.  Here are the 5 most common:

1.  Bernie Rifkin

2.  Bernie Rivkin

3.  Bernie Riskin

4.  Bernie Rivkun

5.  Bernie Riefkind (close but wrong)

In addition people actually have asked me how to spell Bernie!  “Do you spell it Burney?”  Like a reference to something burning.  You’ve got to be kidding me.

So what have I learned through the years about the various spellings  of my name?
