Who is right? Does it even matter?
What does matter is the misunderstanding. The lack of clear concise communication. Maybe confirmation prior to the meeting could have prevented this mishap. Prior confirmation can be critically important to prevent potential miscommunication.
Maybe you can get lucky and get business over the internet, but you can’t sit around hoping that will happen.
Also, it might be a good idea to stop wasting time reading books and articles by “gurus” claiming to know what it takes to get your business noticed on the internet.
