Millennials often seek a higher purpose when it comes to their work. When trying to keep Millennials happy, remind them of your company’s mission statement, and how they contribute and are crucial to the greater cause. They like to know they are of worth. Forty-nine percent of junior Millennials (or Millennials in graduate or junior positions) reported in a Deloitte survey that their personal values or morals were very influential in their decision-making at work.
Just as marketing emails incorporate catchy or memorable subject lines, you may want to use similar tactics. You could use your name in the subject line, but the prospective employer doesn’t know you yet. Instead, try something like, “This Week” and then the message may contain information about you applying for the position and how you’d love to talk about it “this week.” There’s an urgency to this subject line that makes it clickable.
What is Onboarding?
Onboarding is the process of providing new employees the information and skill sets that they need to be effective within your company. New employees will be more successful if they have the opportunity to integrate into your company, instead of simply throwing them in and telling them “good luck.”
Hiring a talent acquisition expert increases the likelihood that you will be able to connect with candidates who are an ideal match for the job opening. Many of the best available candidates are available to interview during the Holiday season. In addition, using a recruitment professional in finding a good match means that your company will typically have a better retention rate.

Healthy organizations operate well by having talented and healthy leaders. Why get sick if you don’t have to? Treat yourself with some preventative medicine. Hire right but if you make a hiring mistake, cut your loss as soon as possible.
