The ability to research social media is a huge asset to employers before an interview. That is why it is extremely important that all of us should think long and hard before posting anything on the internet. Good, bad or indifferent.
In doing online research about an applicant, a simple visit to Google can open up a treasure trove of information on someone that would never appear on a resume. Visit LinkedIn and in most cases you can actually see a picture of the applicant.
What is Onboarding?
Onboarding is the process of providing new employees the information and skill sets that they need to be effective within your company. New employees will be more successful if they have the opportunity to integrate into your company, instead of simply throwing them in and telling them “good luck.”
Hiring a talent acquisition expert increases the likelihood that you will be able to connect with candidates who are an ideal match for the job opening. Many of the best available candidates are available to interview during the Holiday season. In addition, using a recruitment professional in finding a good match means that your company will typically have a better retention rate.
